Every October I end up revisiting classic horror films, and this piece grew out of that tradition. I wasn’t interested in sculpting a traditional werewolf as much as creating a creature that felt ancient, powerful, and believable in its own world.
Like most of my personal work, the design changed constantly along the way. I started with a loose idea and kept questioning every decision until the character slowly found its own identity. Those unexpected turns are usually the most rewarding part of the process.
I always enjoy building creatures that could exist both as digital sculptures and physical collectibles, so this one was designed with 3D printing in mind from the beginning. It’s one of those projects where I could easily imagine holding the final piece in my hands.
