Vintage Iron Man

This was my attempt to imagine Iron Man through a different lens, blending influences from classic comics, vintage automobiles, collectible statues, and some of my favorite artists, including Dave Rapoza and Alex Ross.

Research became a huge part of the project. I spent just as much time exploring different visual directions as I did sculpting, trying to create a version of Tony Stark’s armor that felt both nostalgic and believable.

It’s always fun revisiting iconic characters while asking, “What if?”

The project was later featured by 80 Level, where I had the opportunity to talk about the creative process, the modeling workflow, and the research behind the design. It remains one of my favorite fan art projects to date.
