Showtime – A Tribute to Richard MacDonald

1–2 minutes

read

Richard MacDonald’s sculptures have always been a great source of inspiration to me. Their ability to capture movement, balance, and emotion with such elegance is truly remarkable.

This study is my tribute to his work and an opportunity to explore gesture, anatomy, and the subtle tension between strength and grace. More than recreating a pose, my goal was to capture the sense of performance and the fleeting moment of concentration that exists just before stepping into the spotlight.

Sculpted entirely in ZBrush as a personal study.
