Yet again being so inspired by music.
These two pieces came to me after witnessing Robert Plant’s and Ben Howard’s concerts in the past few months.
Two very different emotions I had and wanted to translate into a sculpture…
Firstly, the female figure inspired by Plant’s “Carry fire”. His entire concert is a trip around different cultures with an amazing feeling of flow and freedom.
While the second figure, the male, brings it down a notch in a more reflective and internal mood inspired by Ben Howard’s music.

Had a blast sculpting the female figure in Oculus Medium btw. Sculpting in VR still blows my mind…
Final tweaks on her and the male figure were sculpted in Zbrush.
