This piece started as a simple sketch for my Sculpting Club, but somewhere along the way it grew into something much bigger. The more time I spent on it, the more I realized it deserved to become a full course.
Disney’s Tarzan has been my favorite animated film for as long as I can remember, so sculpting Kerchak felt like a small tribute to a movie that has inspired me for years.
I’d still love to see this piece cast in bronze one day. I think that’s where it truly belongs.
