Light

This piece came from thinking about openness, letting the light in, then letting it go. Staying present, moving with the flow of things, and practicing non-attachment.

I wanted the character to feel timeless, blending different anatomical influences along the way. Male and female, young and old, realistic and stylized, all finding a balance in the same form.

Like many of my personal pieces, I prefer to leave the interpretation open. I’m always curious to see what people find in it.
