This piece came out of a friendly challenge between me, Bruno Camara, and Bruno Melo.

We picked a medieval theme simply as an excuse to keep learning and making personal work outside of our day jobs. The final beauty render was done in 3ds Max with V-Ray and composited in Photoshop, while the additional renders and real-time presentation were created in Marmoset Toolbag.

The dragon started with a bunch of loose sketches and a quick ZBrush blockout. After retopology in TopoGun, it went back into ZBrush for the final sculpt, with textures created in ZBrush and Photoshop.
