Amazing exchange with this piece, all the way.
It started as a simple pose sketch and slowly evolved into this, after several anatomy passes and pose revisions.
Very anatomically challenging sculpt, but I also wanted to make my life harder and sculpt everything in a solid mesh, using lots of dynamesh and sculptris. That makes it much for difficult to tweak proportions and change the poses, but also much more fun and feels a lot closer to classical marble sculpt.
